Questions

Training FAQ

Common questions about our massage therapy training program.

Do I need any prior experience to enroll?

No prior experience is needed. Our program is designed for complete beginners. We teach you everything from anatomy fundamentals to advanced technique — you just need to show up ready to learn.

How long is the program?

Program length varies based on scheduling. Call us at (956) 787-9100 for current program details, start dates, and scheduling options. We work with you to find a timeline that fits your life.

What certification will I receive?

Upon completion, you'll have the hours and training needed to pursue state licensure as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in Texas. We'll guide you through the licensing process.

How much does the program cost?

We keep our tuition competitive and transparent. For current pricing and any available payment plans, please call us directly at (956) 787-9100. We'll walk you through everything.

How many training hours does Texas require for massage licensure?

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) sets the required hours for massage therapy licensure, and our program is built around meeting them. Because those requirements are set by the state and can be updated, call us at (956) 787-9100 and we will confirm the current hour count and exactly how our schedule maps to it.

What is the path from student to licensed massage therapist in Texas?

You complete a TDLR-approved training program, log your supervised clinical hours, pass the state-recognised licensing examination and then apply to TDLR for your Licensed Massage Therapist credential. We are a TDLR-licensed school (MS1001) operating inside a licensed clinic (ME1431), so your classroom hours and your hands-on hours happen in the same building.

Is financial aid or a payment plan available?

We keep tuition deliberately low rather than relying on loan programmes, and we can discuss payment arrangements directly. Call (956) 787-9100 and ask — we would rather talk it through than quote a number that does not fit your situation.

What does the class schedule look like, and can I work while I train?

Many of our students work while they train. Scheduling is flexible and clinic hours are spread across our seven-day opening, so shifts can usually be arranged around a job. Call us for the current class timetable and upcoming start dates.
